About
Richard "RichRel" Reliford
Richard John Reliford is an Actor, Creator, Producer and Host. He was born in Chicago, IL and raised in the southwestern suburb, Bolingbrook, IL. He is one of 12 children in his family (7 sisters and 4 brothers).
He had his first experience acting in 2000 while performing a short skit with the legendary Bill Cosby at the EJ Thomas Performance Arts Hall in Akron, OH. After graduating college and realizing that football wasn’t going to be his career path, Richard decided to pursue acting full time in Chicago.
Richard has a versatile resume including movies, television shows, national commercials and plays. He is best known for his recurring role on the soap opera, General Hospital, a guest appearance in the ABC comedy, Happy Endings and his latest starring role in the movie, Frat Brothers.
The actor started the organization, “Keeping it R.E.Y.A.L” (Reaching and Encouraging Young Adult Lives), where he provides life coaching, speaking, and hosting services. His goal is to touch lives and spread love through his acting and other endeavors. Richard continues to live by what he calls the 4E’s: E’nfluence, Encourage, Entertain and Enjoy!
His latest creative endeavor has been releasing some of his past musical creative works. He produces, writes, records and performs all his own original music that transcends genre and features LOVE and of course the 4E's. There's been a great response so far with fans internationally contacting us, tweeting and enjoying the positive music.

Favorite Movies: Training Day & Jerry Maguire..there are many others and some that I definitely won't list but I will say they may be considered ummm a lil soft, maybe. haha.

Name: Richard John Reliford ...yeah thats my real name, deal with it. Very prestiguous and upper echelon huh..lol.
"nickname": Rico, Relish, Richie Rich, IronMan, Reliford, and other ones, some inappropriate (crazy friends). Never use the nick name "Dick" for me though, don't make me go offfff on YOU. ha.
Hometown: Bolingbrook, IL (Chicagoland Area)...can't tell you the house or street because I moved 15 times in my 12 years of elementary, middle and high school.
Favorite Color: Blue....and not just any blue, the borderline baby blue, rich but definitely not dark navy or royal blue. Borderline sensitive but still manly blue.
Favorite Foods: Lasagna, Cornbread, Cereal & Banana Pudding to name a few...my sweet tooth alternates so its an ever changing list, but always GOOD Banana Pudding. Unfortunately not everyone can make it good!!
Favorite Sport: Football...I spent 15 years of my life playing this game and it's more than a game...it has many lessons in it...getting deep huh?
Favorite Sports' Team: None - I'm In transition...when LA finally gets an NFL team, I'm jumping on the bandwagon and trying to blow up soon enough so I can be at least a 1 percent owner...time is ticking away..show me some love!
Most important things to me: LOVE, TRUTH, FAMILY and race relations #One1Race and being an overal postive influence on the world.
